Test YourselfTry the demo http://www.cognifit.com/demos/demo-df/interface_eng.swf now.CogniFit's products are designed to enhance cognitive abilities thus improving the quality of life. The tasks are user-friendly and interactive. To sample tasks from their programs go to the Demos introduction page or go to a specific task. 'Perceptual Speed' is the ability to perceive stimuli that has been exposed for a short time. In this task you'll be able to test your 'Perceptual Speed' . 'Speed Estimation' is the ability to estimate the speed of moving objects. In this task you'll be able to test your 'Speed Estimation' . 'Divided Attention' improves observation skills. In particular the second level is a very demanding test; excellence in this may be the difference in your reactions to an unforeseen incident. Learner StuffThese free practice mock driving theory tests are very similar to the real multiple choice section of the test (one question per page) but with the real theory test you are allowed to flag a question so that you can return to it at a later stage. On Learnerstuff you cannot return to the previous question, so the real test should be a bit easier if you use the flagging option to your advantage.During the mock tests / exams you are allowed 60 seconds per question, the time left for that question is displayed in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. So the maximum time allowed to complete the test of 35 questions is 35 minutes, 5 minutes less than the real multiple choice section of the theory test of 40 minutes. Stopping DistancesApproximately two-thirds of all crashes in which people are killed or injured happen on roads with a speed limit of 30mph or less. At 30mph, vehicles are travelling at 44 feet (about 3 car lengths) each second. Run the Pedestrian Injury Simulator to see the impact of speed and various driving impairments upon your thinking and braking distances.Additional Testshttp://www.roadlincs.com/content/Shared/Changeblind.htm |
